Steel Grit is an angular metallic abrasive media designed for aggressive cleaning, descaling, surface profiling, and coating preparation. Its sharp-edged particles provide high cutting power and create an anchor profile suitable for paint, coating, and industrial surface treatment applications.
Steel Grit is produced by crushing high-quality steel shot into angular particles and heat treating it to achieve consistent hardness and durability. Its angular shape makes it suitable for removing rust, scale, old coating, sand, and other surface contaminants from metal components.
It is widely used in steel fabrication, shipbuilding, foundry operations, bridge construction, heavy equipment manufacturing, and maintenance projects where a strong surface profile is required before coating or painting.
